Paediatric First aid Level 3

This 12 hour course is the ideal course for anyone working in childcare and meets the current EYFS & Ofsted standards. Usual deliver is over 4 evenings or 2 days. However we can now deliver the course as blended training with 6 hours home learning and 6 hours classroom training.
Topics include: 
• the roles and responsibilities of a first-aider 
• assessing an emergency situation safely 
• CPR and AED • administering first aid to a choking infant or child 
• dealing with shock, scalds, bleeds, bites, stings and minor injuries 
• dealing with casualties with fractures, and head injuries
Fees: Course for up to 12 candidates £650. Open course £70 per candidate

Emergency Paediatric First Aid Level 3

This qualification is designed for individuals wishing to gain the knowledge and skills required to enable them to provide effective emergency paediatric first aid. It is ideal for pre-school or nursery staff, toddler group volunteers and childminders. It is also suitable for parents, relatives and foster carers.
Topics include: 
• the roles and responsibilities of a paediatric first-aider 
• assessing an emergency situation safely
 • CPR and AED
 • administering first aid to a choking infant or child 
• putting a casualty in the recovery position 
• dealing with shock, bleeds, bites, stings and minor injuries

This 12 hour course is designed for those working in child care, and satisfies the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage and OfSTED . The course covers:
• Dealing with emergencies • Adult, Child and Baby Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation • Dealing with injuries• Medical emergencies
On successful completion the candidate will be awarded a certificate valid for 3 years.
